Amy and Shelly are so passionate about women's health and it shows in the detail they put into every aspect of the day. Will definitely be incorporating more pilates into my training!   • Slainte Retreats … Where to start? A fabulous experience. Amy and Shelly are the most fantastic hosts. They did a brilliant job of making everyone feel welcome, providing delicious and nutritious food and incorporating the craic into health and fitness. I could not sing their praises high enough! Living in NYC is the best but can be chaotic and high paced. A trip upstate to a peaceful lodge in the middle of nature with the best company and activities is the perfect opportunity to rest and recharge. WHOLESOME VIBES ONLY!

  • If someone asked me to plan my ideal Saturday morning after a stressful working week, honestly, this would be it! The Slainte team got it so right; it was the perfect blend of exercise, learning and relaxation, finished with some gorgeous treats and bubbles! Shelly & Amy created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and everyone there was so lovely and friendly. Cannot recommend this event enough and I honestly cannot wait to go again!

  • Completely out of my comfort zone to head away with a group of people I didn't know, but it was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. Not only were the girls so great in breaking down any ice between the guests, everyone that attended were there for the same reasons, and I felt it was so easy to get along with everyone!   • I am thrilled to share my journey of completing my first ever 5km run, a feat I never thought possible when I first laced up my running shoes. Initially, my goal was modest: to conquer just one mile, but with the unwavering support and motivation from Amy and Shelly, I was able to triple that goal. From the outset, the road ahead seemed daunting. I could barely manage 90 seconds of running without asking if anyone had an inhaler. Yet, as the days turned into weeks, the struggle gradually transformed into determination and the seconds started to turn into miles. The day of the 5km arrived, and I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. For me, it wasn't about racing against others or setting a record; it was about challenging myself and embracing the journey. Crossing the finish line was a momentous occasion, one filled with pride and accomplishment. Throughout this whole experience Shelly and Amy were my pillars of strength. From their words of encouragement to physically pulling me up the hills of central park, these ladies are the only reason I made it across the finish line. In addition to Amy and Shelly, the bonds formed within the Sláinte community extend beyond mere fitness goals; they are bonds forged through sweat, perseverance, and mutual encouragement. It is a place where each member is valued, where every milestone achieved is met with applause, and where the journey towards wellness is embraced with open arms. Sláinte is a community that inspires, uplifts, and empowers its members to strive for greatness, both on the track and in life. Reflecting on this journey, I am reminded that the power of determination knows no bounds. With the right support system and a resilient mindset, we can defy our own expectations and surpass limits we once thought insurmountable. While some may aspire to conquer marathons, I have absolutely no intention or desire to do so. The 10km mark may be my next target, though my knees may protest but beyond that, I am content. As I look ahead to new challenges, I carry with me the lessons learned on this journey – the power of perseverance, the strength found in community, and the boundless possibilities that await when we dare to push beyond our comfort zones.
